Dr. Trevor Anderson
A North Queensland aquaculturist, Dr Anderson has a wealth of experience in the industry.  He has previously managed the development of one of the country’s largest barramundi farms and one of Queensland’s largest farmed prawn companies. He has lectured in marine science at James Cook University and set up the Deakin University aquaculture course. He presently provides consulting services to the industry while developing a new project in North Queensland.

Mr. Bruce Sambell

Bruce has been the president of the Aquaculture Association of Queensland Inc. for 10 years. He sits on a number of committees including, (Queensland) Freshwater Management Advisory Committee, the Stocked Impoundment Permit Sub-Committee and the Translocation Sub-committee. He has served as an industry representative on the Queensland Aquaculture Development Advisory Council for 6 years.

Bruce established his fish hatchery, Ausyfish Pty. Ltd., in 1988. His hatchery specialises in the production of Australian native fingerlings and larvae for the rapidly developing Australian native table fish sector. His involvement with fish stretches back over 30 years.
