Dr. Trevor Anderson |
|
A North Queensland aquaculturist, Dr Anderson has a wealth of
experience in the industry. He has previously managed the
development of one of the country’s largest barramundi farms and
one of Queensland’s largest farmed prawn companies. He has
lectured in marine science at James Cook University and set up
the Deakin University aquaculture course. He presently provides
consulting services to the industry while developing a new
project in North Queensland. |

Bruce
has been the president of the Aquaculture Association of Queensland
Inc. for 14 years. He served on a number of committees including,
(Queensland) Freshwater Management Advisory Committee, the Stocked
Impoundment Permit Sub-Committee and the Translocation Sub-committee.
He has served as an industry representative on the Queensland
Aquaculture Development Advisory Council for 10 years, and was
vice-president for several years. |

Bruce established his
fish hatchery, Ausyfish Pty. Ltd., in 1988. His hatchery specialises
in the production of Australian native fingerlings and larvae for
the rapidly developing Australian native table fish sector. His
involvement with fish stretches back over 30 years.

Graham
is an economist and Director of Business Pacific Consultants Pty Ltd.
Graham has a wealth of experience in agri-business and government.
He was Executive Director of the Queensland Farmers Federation for
seven years, Executive Officer with
the Australian Sugar Producers
Association and a senior officer in a range of Government departments. |
