Description of Species as a Gourmet Product:

Silver perch provide an eating experience that measures up to the best of any gourmet health food. The flesh is firm, yet has a delightfully tender melt in the mouth eating experience. The flesh is extremely versatile and can be prepared in a variety of ways. Baked in the oven, grilled, deep fried in an oil of your choice even prepared as a casserole.  Quality Silver Perch fillets will never disappoint !

A CSIRO study has revealed that our very own Silver Perch has 792 milligrams per 100 grams of the "good oil", Omega-3.

Yes that is very high indeed. Compare this with a few of our competitor products. These are figures from the CSIRO study that show just how well Silver Perch stacks up.

Rainbow Trout. They have been farmed for a long time in Australian, but only 448 mg/100g.

Brown trout has even less at only 415mg/100g.

Eels, have only 313mg/100g.

Barramundi grown in freshwater have 206mg/100g, and Barra grown in sea water have 150mg/100g.

Not even alternative products such as chicken, beef and   lamb have anywhere near the levels of omega-3. Silver Perch has 10 to 100 times more omega-3 than these more traditional food products.
